Purposeful protection
Composite protection. One glove.
TOUCH-e is a Class 0 composite insulating glove. Its mechanical protection is built into the glove, rather than relying solely on a separate leather protector.
- Electrical insulation: Class 0, rated up to 1,000 V AC / 1,500 V DC.
- Arc protection: rated at 12 cal/cm².
- Mechanical protection: EN 388 rating 1121, covering abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.
Select PPE to suit the task and risk assessment. Check the product markings and manufacturer’s instructions for the applicable ratings, conditions and limitations.
Electrical shock is only part of the picture.
Class 0 insulating gloves are a familiar part of high-voltage PPE, helping protect against electrical shock. But arc incident energy, the thermal energy released during an arc flash, must also be considered.
A Class 0 insulation rating alone does not provide arc protection.
If an insulating glove does not provide suitable arc protection, additional arc-rated protection may be required, such as a compatible leather protector with a verified rating. The glove combination must be suitable for the task and assessed exposure.
TOUCH-e combines Class 0 electrical insulation with Category 2 arc protection and a 12 cal/cm² arc rating. Its composite construction also provides mechanical protection, bringing electrical insulation, arc protection and mechanical strength together in one glove.
Select gloves and the rest of your PPE to suit the assessed incident energy and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Free eVehicleSafe app
Keep track of the gloves you rely on.
A pair of gloves is easier to manage when its details are easy to find. The eVehicleSafe app provides a glove register and automated expiry reminders to support your PPE management.
- Register: scan and record your glove details.
- Keep records: access the registered information when you need it.
- Stay informed: receive reminders as the recorded expiry date approaches.
Registration and reminders support record keeping. They do not replace pre-use inspections, required testing or an assessment of the glove’s condition.
Protection starts before you put them on.
Make inspection, care and storage part of your routine. Follow the supplied instructions and remove damaged or unsuitable gloves from service.

Inspect before use
Check condition and perform the required pre-use inspection, including a field air inspection where specified. A field air inspection is not an electrical retest.

Care for your equipment
Use appropriate accessories and store gloves as directed to help protect them from damage, contamination and unsuitable conditions.

Know your glove details
Anyone can check the status of your TOUCH-e gloves using the eVS app. Simply scan the glove’s QR code to confirm its in-service expiry date — no guesswork.
