- What's in the kit : Space for your own Thermal Camera (BYO)
- We include the CO meter, plus training on how to complete the procedure (intake assessment, thermal imaging of the battery, off-gassing check, documentation).
- Time : 15–30 minutes per vehicle.
- Why it matters : a damaged or compromised lithium battery can go into thermal runaway once it's inside your workshop, and there's little you can do to change that outcome once it starts. A pre-inspection catches the risk before the vehicle is ever parked inside.
- Compliance : built around Victoria's EV/hybrid roadworthy pre-inspection requirements, but the same procedure applies to any workshop taking in hybrid or electric vehicles.
